Fume Scrubbing systems or Gas absorption systems consists of Hoods, Fume Scrubber, Ducting, Liquid recirculation tank, Blower, Chimney and Heat exchanger.
We offer three types of Fume scrubbers. Type: Wet Fume Scrubber -(Vertical Fume Scrubber, Horizontal Fume Scrubber), Venturi Scrubbers and Plate Scrubbers.
The first type of wet fume scrubber or wet gas scrubber (Vertical / Horizontal ) is packed bed type scrubbers. It is a common form of wet scrubbers in which column is filled with suitable type of random packings like Pall rings, Intalox saddles, Raschig rings, etc. Scrubbing liquid is evenly distributed above the packing and flows down through the bed. The liquid wets the packing and forms a thin film. In vertical designs (packed towers), the gas stream flows up the column in vertical type fume scrubber (countercurrent to the liquid) and in horizontal type fume scrubber, it is cross current direction. Type and quantities of scrubbing media depends upon gas or fumes type and quantity. Heat exchanger in some cases may require, if gas-liquid reaction is exothermic.
All fumes / gases were generating during Silver recovery and Silver Nitrate manufacturing process. All different fumes were sucked by different FRP Blowers through wet type vertical Fume scrubbers. SS-316 scrubbers and FRV (Vinylester) scrubbers were used for Nitrous fumes.
NOx Fumes were generating during Silver Nitrate manufacturing process. NOx fumes were sucked by FRP blower and venturi through SS-316 fume scrubber and FRV fume scrubbers.
HCL Fumes were generating during Metal ACID PICKLING PROCES. Side Hoods were provided. FRP Blower was used for suction of corrosive fumes and wet fume scrubber (MOC-PP-FRP) was used for removal of HCL fumes.
Acidic fumes were generating during Copper Wire Plating. It was continuous plating process. enclosed type hoods with openable doors were provided on all continuous plating tanks.
CHROME mist Fumes were generating during HARD CHROME PLATING process.
H2S gas was generating during Chemical reactions.
TEA gases were generating during Cold Box Sand Core Making Process.

HCL fumes were continuously evolving out from HCL acid storage tanks. Common scrubber with suction centrifugal type blower was provided to suck and scrub fumes evolving from storage tanks and tanker.
HCL fumes are very corrosive and continuous removal is required to control spread of hazardous and corrosive fumes. HCL fumes generation rate increases during loading of storage tanks as well as tankers.
